Saturday services have been held at our Newton
campus for over a year. In keeping with our objective to
provide diverse times and styles, this new service will
meet on Saturday evenings at 5pm. The services will
include multiple formats, seating arrangements, and
styles of music. This style of service is sometimes
referred to as a”Convergent” service.
We hope that it will relieve crowded conditions in
Kingston, welcome individuals for whom Sunday
services are not possible, and reach out to new friends with the love of Jesus Christ.
The Saturday service will feature the same sermon, be supported by the same Diaconate
Spiritual Guidance Team, and provide all of the same ministry opportunities that exist in
Kingston. Andrew Gaydos will coordinate the music.
Consider trying this service as an alternative to or in addition to the Kingston services.
We are seeking some current worshipers who might be “faith seeds” for this new worship
service by making a short commitment to attending on Saturday evenings. This was an initial
help to us when we started our contemporary service several years ago in Kingston.
If you are interested please let us know: email Julie@kingstonfcc.org, call 603-642-7256, or
hand your name to any church staff member.

service and how does it
differ from what we
have now?

At a special meeting called by the Space Planning and Building Committee on
Sunday, July 17th, it was unanimously voted by the church membership to accept
the plans as presented by the Committee and begin construction on the addition to
the Kingston Meeting House ASAP.
The first thing to be done was to have a hazardous material inspection and removal
of same as necessary. Shortly after, the Rent Room, kitchen, bathrooms, and
offices were removed as seen in this picture.
Click here for more pictures of the construction progress.
In July, 2011, a team of seven members from KFCC traveled to Pennsylvania to
assist with the construction of a new house. Our team and a team from
another church completely pre-fabricated all of the framing for the house in
seven days. The frame sections were loaded onto a trailer for transportation
to the construction site. Another team will assemble the house on the
foundation. This house replaces one that was destroyed by fire. Some
photos of the construction project are available by following this link.
In April 2011, Mark Connelly started recording a series of scripture readings
accompanied by his own background music. His work has been well
received and his artistic approach enhances our worship services. Mark has
graciously posted them online for everyone to enjoy. To experience these
worshipful meditations for yourself, you may access them by following this

Sandy & Doug Osterloh
For the 5th year, Sandy & Doug hosted a complete
Christmas dinner for anyone who is alone for
Christmas. This year it was a special challenge
because, due to construction at the Kingston
Campus, the dinner was held at the Newton
Campus. They prepared all the food off premise
and laid it all out buffet style on tables in the
sanctuary. Some 30 or so people received a
wonderful gift from the Osterlohs. Thank you!!

The A/V area in Newton now looks
very professional. The floor is
raised 6”, a new counter top is
36” above the floor and two
stools comfortably accomodate
the operators. A wall fashioned
in a style complementary to the
existing walls encloses
everything. A nice set of file
drawers and enclosed cabinet
round out the improvement.
