Missions
Our church has been very supportive of missions close
to home and far away. This page will soon be
populated with information about specific missions that
we support and stories and reports from members of
our church body who have served some of those
missions.
Helen Cunningham traveled to central Africa in January 2010.
She was there for 3 1/2 weeks with two others from the United
States. They were the Rev. Dr. Arthur Rouner from the Pilgrim
Center for Reconciliation and Theresa Shatzer who has
traveled with Arthur on five occasions. Helen’s report runs for
12 1/2 minutes.
A map showing the many missions that we support around the world
In January 2011 Helen Cunningham was in Central Africa on a reconciliation
mission trip with Dr. Arthur Rouner, his wife Molly, and a seasoned reconciler Ms.
Theresa Shatzer.
This was an exciting and challenging trip designed to encourage reconciliation
between former adversaries in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, and Kenya. They
completed five three-day retreats. Thank you for praying for this team as they
spread the Good News and healing of Jesus Christ.
